Action Society asks community to give information after hammer death of KZN woman

A KZN family is reeling after the murder of their second daughter at the hands of their partner. Action Society is making an urgent call for anyone with more information about the death of Zibuyile Ngubeni (26) or her sister to come forward.

“It is unthinkable for one family to suffer the same devastating fate twice,” said Ian Cameron, director of community safety at Action Society. “We will continue to fight for justice for every woman or child who dies through violence in South Africa.”

Ngubeni’s husband allegedly bludgeoned her to death with a two-pound hammer and is now on the run. He, however, continues to call her family with threats.

The family’s other daughter was shot and killed by her partner at the family’s house previously. The accused in this case has also not been arrested yet.

Ngubeni left behind young children.
