Action Society invites the media to attend the murder case of Melanie Stoffels on Wednesday, 30 October 2024 where the two perpetrators accused of her brutal murder, will appear before the Athlone Magistrates court. Action Society has been mandated to oversee the case in court.
Melanie Stoffels, a young woman from Heideveld was beaten to death with a hammer on 7 August 2024 in an alleged coordinated attack or ‘hit’, paid for by her ex-girlfriend. She was pregnant at the time. The attacker handed himself over to the police, and the ex-girlfriend was arrested later that month.
