Reagen Allen has just been appointed as Provincial Minister of Community Safety and Police Oversight.
“It is good to see an appointment of someone who spends time on the ground and has already done so much to keep SAPS accountable in such a short time. It is a bonus to see a young Minister of Community Safety appointed in the Western Cape that also comes from Mitchell’s Plain,” said Ian Cameron, director of community safety at Action Society. “We want to congratulate him and wish him all the best. We also want to ensure him of Action Society’s full co-operation.”
