Help us get justice for Nomasonto

Nomasonto was run down repeatedly by a bakkie.
You can help us put her killer behind bars.

“My mother was a very expressive and friendly person. There are few people who did not wish her well.”

On 21 February 2024, a bakkie driver purposefully ran over and reversed over Nomasonto Felicity Modzanane when she crossed a road in front of her workplace in Randfontein. She died from her injuries.

The tragic and gruesome incident was caught on CCTV footage, and the bakkie and driver are identifiable. However, no one has been arrested.

Nomasonto leaves behind three children and a grandson.

Action Society has sent a formal letter to the police regarding the investigation Nomasonto’s murder. Action Society has been mandated to oversee the case and we believe that transparency from the police will go a long way in getting this woman’s family answers to the many questions they have.
