Siphokazi Booi

#Sayhername Mr President

Siphokazi Booi (27), was brutally murdered, dismembered, and set alight by her boyfriend.
Her remains were found in a wheelie bin, burnt and dumped near the railway in Mbekweni in Paarl. She is one of thousands of women that have been brutally killed in this country, and it’s time we as a society take a stand against Gender Based Violence.

In response to this tragic case and the ongoing failure of the South African government to
protect and provide justice for GBV victims, Action Society is supporting a mass
gathering in Paarl on 27 June  2023 at Paarl Regional Court.
