Action Society invites members of the media and the community to attend the bail application hearing of Werner de Jager on Monday, 05 February 2024 at the Amanzimtoti Magistrates Court. Werner is accused of killing his wife Liezel de Jager in October 2021.
“On Monday Action Society will stand with the Amanzimtoti community, family and friends of Liezel de Jager, to make sure Werner is not granted bail. It is crucial that we take a stand and make it clear that offenders like him should not be allowed to pose a further risk in public to family and loved ones,” said Director of Community Safety, Ian Cameron.
